PRO Skylights

Some early ATSF RPOs had skylights to assist in mail sorting. Documented are the cars of the 57-79 heavyweight class.These all-steel cars were built 1924-27. Photos of 60 and 62 show these skylights. Thanks to John Smith of Pecos River Brass who provided these to Jon Miller. The skylights are the two boxes on top of the clerestory roof.
